1. Scope

Mohan Technologies LLC offers the product branded as Mohan Financial App or MFA. This policy applies to the public website, communications sent directly to us, and the hosted MFA software service. It does not replace a customer's own privacy notice or an executed agreement governing customer-directed processing.

MFA is built for professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the public website.

2. Our role

Mohan Technologies LLC decides how information submitted directly through its public website, privacy, security, and business communications is used. When a financial-services customer supplies or directs MFA to process client or workforce information, that customer generally determines the purpose and permitted use of the information, and Mohan Technologies LLC processes it to provide and secure the service at the customer's direction. The customer's instructions, notices, and any applicable agreement may therefore control a particular request.

3. Information we collect

Website and communications

We may receive the information you choose to send when you request a demonstration, contact security, request trust-center access, or communicate with us. Our systems may also create limited security and operational records such as IP address, browser or device type, requested page, timestamp, request identifier, and error information.

Account and professional information

For authorized service users, we process sign-in and account identifiers, contact details, role and access grants, firm and advisor profile information, settings, tasks, meeting information, and records of actions taken in MFA.

Client and financial-planning information

At the direction of an authorized customer, MFA may process household and member details, financial accounts, balances, holdings, transactions, income, benefits, insurance, budgets, businesses, planning assumptions, documents, and related service records. Financial-institution credentials entered through an external account-linking experience are handled by that provider and are not intended to be stored by MFA.

Cookies

The public marketing pages do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Authenticated and protected workflows may use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for sign-in, security, session continuity, and user preferences.

4. Where information comes from

Information may come directly from website visitors and authorized users; from the financial-services customer that administers an MFA workspace; from customer-authorized account aggregation, custodial, or other service providers; and from security, authentication, hosting, and operational systems that generate limited service records. MFA does not independently authorize access to a person's financial information merely because a third-party provider can supply it.

5. How we use information

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve MFA and its authorized workflows.
  • Authenticate users, enforce permissions, and prevent or investigate misuse.
  • Process customer-directed financial-planning and practice-management activity.
  • Respond to support, demonstration, privacy, security, and trust requests.
  • Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, preserve audit evidence, and manage releases.
  • Comply with applicable law, contracts, legal process, and documented retention obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. How we share information

We may share information only as needed with:

  • Authorized customers and users according to firm, advisor, household, and role-based access.
  • Service providers that support cloud hosting, identity, account aggregation, monitoring, security, communications, and professional operations under appropriate contractual restrictions.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, customers, or the public.
  • A successor organization in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable confidentiality and notice requirements.

We do not authorize service providers to use customer financial information for their own advertising.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain information for the period needed to provide and secure the service, meet contractual commitments, preserve required audit or business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal or regulatory requirements. Retention varies by record type and customer context. When deletion is appropriate, we use documented processes that account for backups, legal holds, immutable evidence, and downstream service providers.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and relationship with an MFA customer, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about processing. If your information was provided through a financial-services firm, contacting that firm first is often the fastest path because it controls the client relationship and can verify your identity and scope.

You may also contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity, authority, and the customer relationship before fulfilling a request. Some records may be retained where law, regulation, security, fraud prevention, contractual obligations, or legal claims require it.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information we process. These include strong authentication, scoped access, encryption, private data infrastructure, audit logging, security testing, controlled deployment, and vendor oversight. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

For more information or to request access to appropriate security materials, visit our Trust Center.

10. International processing

MFA is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where authorized service providers operate, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects customer-directed processing, we will provide additional notice when required.

12. Contact us

If your information was supplied through a financial-services firm, contact that firm first so it can verify your identity and relationship. You may also email privacy@mohantechnology.com for privacy questions or requests, contact@mohantechnology.com for general inquiries, or security@mohantechnology.com for security reports.
